Description

It was over as quickly as it had happened. I opened my eyes and lowered my arms slowly from my face. My heart was racing and the only thought in my head was, 'you should be dead'. The beast hovering above me took a small step back. Maybe I was crazy, but I could have sworn the word 'sorry' came through its deep rumbling growls. It took off as I began to sit back up. The creature looked back as if to make sure I was okay and then disappeared into thick forest.

But I still believed what everyone told me, even after what happened. That werewolf didn't spare my life out of the goodness of it's heart. They killed anything that crossed their path. Werewolves were animals, and I... well I was lucky.
